  • Pearl is a cocktail-style boat docked at our restaurant, offering a distinctive atmosphere. It does not provide traditional sit-down dining but offers a limited selection of food and beverages.

  • A reservation grants standing room on the boat, rather than a table.

  • The boat can accommodate up to 30 guests at a time, in accordance with Coast Guard regulations and to ensure guest comfort and safety.

  • Pearl will begin accepting reservations in mid-May. Reservations can be made one week in advance.

  • Private events can be booked starting June 1st.

    • Monday & Tuesday: Closed to both private events and reservations

    • Wednesday - Friday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

    • Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • No, reservations cannot be made on Mondays and Tuesdays as the boat is closed to both private events and reservations.

    • If Pearl is fully reserved for a private event, no additional reservations will be accepted, and time slots will not appear online.

    • To inquire about a private event, fill out the form at Rowaytonseafood.com/Pearl at least 2 weeks before the event date.

    • A deposit is required to secure your private event booking.

    • The deposit is forfeited if the event is canceled within 1 week of the reservation, unless the cancellation is due to inclement weather, in which case the deposit will be refunded.

    • Only a limited number of private events are accepted each week, and requests may be declined if the limit is reached.

  • No, Pearl is docked at all times and is generally not available for cruises.

  • If inclement weather poses a safety risk (e.g., lightning or heavy rain), your event will be canceled. The deposit will be refunded, but we cannot accommodate your group at another location within the restaurant. By booking an event, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

  • If it rains and you have a reservation, your reservation will be canceled. You will be contacted via our reservation system.

  • Yes, we serve food on Pearl in take-out containers, and there is a raw bar available on board.

  • Yes, we have a bar on board offering cocktails, beer, and wine.

  •  The time limit for a reservation on Pearl is strictly 1.5 hours.

  • No, Pearl is not wheelchair accessible.

  • Pearl does not allow guests under the age of 21. For private buy-outs, guests aged 13 and older are welcome.

  • No, pets are not allowed on Pearl.

  • Reservations can be made up to one week in advance.

  • The maximum party size for reservations is 4 people.

  • Due to the slant of the ramp, flat shoes are recommended. Shirts and shoes are required for all guests.

  • No, we cannot. Unfortunately, it is not guaranteed we will have any other location available for you inside the restaurant. You accept this risk when you make a reservation.

  • No, there is no smoking allowed on the vessel. Pearl is a wood boat, and no open flames or candles are permitted.
